If you’re a fan of Greek mythology, this novel is for you. The author has done a lot of researches and you can feel it, I had a really good time with all the characters. This means that you can’t read everything at once, but it’s an enjoyable novel. Yes, it was a really interesting novel and one that we read with great pleasure, even though it is very dense. Receiving prophecies that no one believes, it will be very hard to see that people prefer not to take her words into account while paying the consequences afterwards. She must go through different trials, trying to keep hope, knowing that things can’t get any better. Kassandra is a character that I loved to follow, even if her life is quite terrible. In this novel, we mainly follow Kassandra’s life, but her life is intimately linked to others, such as Paris, Achilles, Andromaque, Ulysse and many others that we know well!

Yes, because I love Greek mythology and the author offers us a fascinating re-release! Blending archaeological fact and legend, the myths of the gods and the feats of heroes, Marion Zimmer Bradley breathes new life into the classic tale of the Trojan War-reinventing larger-than-life figures as living people engaged in a desperate struggle that dooms both the victors and the vanquished, their fate. I must confess that I was very curious of this reprint. Review: This is an author I had heard a lot about, but I don’t think I’d ever read one of her novels before. She was born in Albany, New York on June 3, 1930. She has foreseen the fall of Troy, but no one believes Kassandra’s prophecies, or heeds her warnings about the beautiful woman known as Helen… Marion Zimmer Bradley is a science-fiction and fantasy writer, novelist, and editor. Synopsis: Born of noble blood, Kassandra is gifted with the ability to see into the future-and her visions tell of a battle that will bring the wrath of the gods upon all of Greece.
